On Thursday our green-fingered year 1 pupils visited our local allotments. They were there to check the progress of the fruit and vegetables they originally planted in the Spring, when they were in our foundation stage.
The children were delighted to see how their carrots, potatoes, hazelnuts and onions had grown, harvesting the crops to take back to the academy.
We all had fun in the great outdoors!
