From immersing ourselves into the magical world of role play to being captivated by the power of sharing stories, our nursery is proud to offer an exciting and stimulating space for children to play, learn and grow from the age of three.

At Samuel Barlow Primary Academy nursery in Clipstone, Mansfield, we foster curiosity and creativity from the very beginning. Our dedicated indoor and outdoor spaces are designed for children to explore and discover the world around them with guidance and support from our committed early years teaching staff and assistants.

Up to 30 hours FREE childcare places available

Families may be eligible for 15 or 30 hours free childcare which can be spread across morning, afternoon or full day spaces.

Parents as partners

We believe a strong partnership between school and home is key to success. Our ‘parents as partners’ approach ensures we all work together to achieve the best for the children attending our school. We offer a transition programme into nursery with activities to help everyone feel comfortable with additional opportunities to meet staff, learn about the curriculum, and join in learning with your child.

Free fruit and milk for children under 5

Each child that registers with Cool Milk will receive a 189ml portion of semi-skimmed milk every day. Find out more and how to register on our parents pages.
