Yesterday our year 3 pupils had a wonderful experience as they visited the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham to watch and listen to the amazing Hallé Orchestra. Now in its 161st season, the Hallé ranks among the UK’s top symphonic ensembles.
Their performance yesterday was all based on the theme of Space to celebrate 50 years since landing on the moon – our children got involved with the songs, singing along to two of the pieces the orchestra brought to life. When the pupils’ voices joined with the other academies and schools in the audience it made for a very powerful and wonderfully uplifting sound!
The children had a brilliant time – we were delighted to be able take them to see such amazing live music in a very impressive venue.
